2019 \u00f3ta \u00f6t \u00f6n\u00e1ll\u00f3 fot\u00f3albuma jelent meg.<\/span><\/p>

Tam\u00e1s Varga<\/strong> is a Hungarian photographer who has been working with historic photographic processes. Recently, he has exclusively dedicated himself to collodion and silver gelatin dry glass plates. For him, as an artist, this process has become the natural way of creating photographs.<\/p>

His works have been presented to the public in 19 individual, exclusive, independent exhibitions, as well as in more than 150 expositions both worldwide and in Hungary.<\/p>

He is the author of many articles on the subject, and his publications have appeared in numerous photobooks, professional journals, other periodicals, catalogues, and calendars.<\/p>

Since 2019, five independent photo albums have been published.<\/p>

M\u00e1r gyerekkoromban is azt gondoltam, hogy valami j\u00f3t, igazit l\u00e9trehozni nem egyszer\u0171 dolog, sokat \u00e9s hossz\u00fa ideig kell az\u00e9rt dolgozni. Ma fotogr\u00e1fusk\u00e9nt ugyanezt hiszem.<\/p>

Munk\u00e1im z\u00f6m\u00e9t nagy form\u00e1tum\u00fa f\u00e9nyk\u00e9pez\u0151g\u00e9ppel k\u00e9sz\u00edtem. A 19. sz\u00e1szad v\u00e9g\u00e9n \u00e9s a 20. sz\u00e1zad elej\u00e9n munk\u00e1lkod\u00f3 mesterek mellett a kort\u00e1rs alkot\u00f3k \u00e9s tendenci\u00e1k is hat\u00e1ssal vannak r\u00e1m \u00e9s k\u00e9peimre. Tartalmilag visszat\u00e9r\u0151en foglalkozom projektjeimben a K\u00f6z\u00e9p-Kelet Eur\u00f3pai l\u00e9t saj\u00e1tos aspektusaival ill. negat\u00edv sztereot\u00edpi\u00e1kkal k\u00fczd\u0151 csoportok bemutat\u00e1s\u00e1val.<\/p>

\u00c9rdekl\u0151d\u00e9sem k\u00f6z\u00e9ppontj\u00e1ban az egyik leg\u0151sibb technika, a nedves koll\u00f3diumos elj\u00e1r\u00e1s \u00e1ll. Ez a technika bizonyos szempontokb\u00f3l a mai napig is utol\u00e9rhetetlen. Nem k\u00edv\u00e1nok az archaiz\u00e1l\u00f3k \u00fatj\u00e1n haladni, friss, kort\u00e1rs szeml\u00e9lettel igyekszem kiakn\u00e1zni a k\u00e9pek egyedis\u00e9g\u00e9t, sokszor vegy\u00edtve az elj\u00e1r\u00e1st a digit\u00e1lis k\u00e9palkot\u00e1ssal.<\/p>

Az alkot\u00e1s folyamat\u00e1nak minden r\u00e9sze izgat \u00e9s izgalomba hoz. Bonyolult \u00e9s \u00f6sszetett \u00e9rz\u00e9s az, ha egy felv\u00e9telt kital\u00e1lunk, ezt hosszasan \u00e9rlelj\u00fck, el\u0151k\u00e9sz\u00edtj\u00fck a hozz\u00e1 sz\u00fcks\u00e9ges anyagokat, elv\u00e9gezz\u00fck a manu\u00e1lis feladatokat, ig\u00e9nybe vessz\u00fck el\u0151deink eszk\u00f6zeit, g\u00e9peit, tud\u00e1s\u00e1t, majd csak ezek ut\u00e1n expon\u00e1lunk \u00e9s nem azonnal vissza a k\u00e9pet a k\u00e9perny\u0151n. Nekem m\u00e9g fontos a mesters\u00e9gbeli tud\u00e1s, vonz a s\u00f6t\u00e9tkamr\u00e1ban az egyed\u00fcll\u00e9t, az anyaggal val\u00f3 k\u00f6zvetlen kapcsolat, az egy \u00e9s megism\u00e9telhetetlen, ennek megfelel\u0151en a k\u00e9pek k\u00e9zben foghat\u00f3 form\u00e1ban val\u00f3l\u00e9trehoz\u00e1sa.<\/p>

Tudom, ez ma nem egy trendi dolog.<\/p>

Mindezt 21. sz\u00e1zadi fejjel, szemmel, l\u00e1t\u00e1sm\u00f3ddal akarom m\u0171velni figyelve a friss\u00e1ramlatokat \u00e9s haszn\u00e1lva a modern kor v\u00edvm\u00e1nyait.<\/p>

Even as a kid I thought that its not an easy thing to create something real something true. One has to work hard to achieve that. Today as a photographer I have the same belief.<\/p>

I accomplish most of my work in great format with cameras. Beides the masters of the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, the contemporary artists and tendencies affect my photos and me. In my projects I root back and deal in a recurring manner with the Central- Eastern European existence and its typical features and I introduce social groups fighting against being stereotyped .<\/p>

My main focus is the archaic wet plate collodion process. This technique in some aspects is still unreplaceable and unreplaceable even by today standards and tools. My intention is not simply walk the road of those who are archaizing, quite the opposite, I am intending to utilize the uniqueness of the pictures with fresh recent approach frequently merging the archaic procedure with digital imaging technologies.<\/p>

Every tiny bit of the process of creating excites and thrills me. It\u2019s a sophisticated and complicated feeling to imagine a picture; incubate the idea; prepare the materials for it and do the manual job with it. In the making we utilize our predecessors\u2019 tools and knowledge and just than we expose and we don\u2019t hang on the LCD. For me the craftsmanship is a value. The loneliness in the dark room, the direct contact with the material and the nature of the unrepeatable is attracting. As such the fact of creating palpable crafts one can hold in hand is mesmerizing.<\/p>

I know its not hip and trendy today.<\/p>

My aim is to cultivate this with a 21th century mind-set taking into consideration the latest trends and utilizing the accomplishments of the modern era.<\/p>
